Yeah, I guess. This site was upgraded from V4/Webforms to v6/MVC and many of the macros are leftover from v4. Are you saying I should convert all my macros that are in Scripting to Partial View Macros?
WARN umbraco.MacroEngines.DynamicNode - [Thread 1] razorDataTypeModel successfully instantiated but returned null for instance WARN umbraco.MacroEngines.DynamicNode - [Thread 1] Failed to create the instance of the model binder
razorDataTypeModel successfully instantiated but returned null for instance
I'm seeing this message a lot in my trace logs with a level of WARN. Does anybody know what it means, or how to fix it? I'm using 6.1.6 if it matters
razorDataTypeModel successfully instantiated but returned null for instance
Hello,
Are you using the old razor macro? http://our.umbraco.org/forum/developers/razor/44664-Confused-over-when-DynamicNodeList-is-returned?p=0#comment160691
It might be better to switch to the newer version because than you don't have this problem.

If it are old macro's you can just keep them, but for a new project I would use the new version.
The razorDataTypeModel part is from the dynamic part which is trying to convert it to a strongly typed model. I did it for DAMP: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/damp-property-editor-value-converter

Hello,
Is there a way to hide this from the log file?
WARN umbraco.MacroEngines.DynamicNode - [Thread 1] razorDataTypeModel successfully instantiated but returned null for instance
WARN umbraco.MacroEngines.DynamicNode - [Thread 1] Failed to create the instance of the model binder
Thanks,
