We are looking for someone to maintain / troubleshoot / update a billing portal developed in Umbraco. The website portal was launched few months ago and most of the heavy lifting is supposedly done but we still need someone to be available for interfacing with the business group for any change requests they might have.
When there are no pending change requests for the portal, we will like the candidate to help other developers in the team with their work load. We are primarily a Microsoft.Net (c#), SQL Server, Sharepoint kind of shop, with some document composition tools for generating millions of monthly statements for various banks, insurance companies etc. There are always lots of mini projects that could benefit via an additonal developer.
Alternatively, experience in gathering requirements for software projects , documentation, coordinating software delivery among various teams could be helpful too.
This is an immediate opening and we will like to finalize someone ASAP. For those candidates, who are not local to Indianapolis, Indiana, we are OK with a few months of work remotely before moving on-site.
Also, we prefer direct hire but can do 1099 ( or corp to corp ) for the right candidate. We cannot sponsor new H1 visas but are open to transferring visa for someone already in USA on H1b and open for immediate joining.
