Hi, Ive setup a doc type with a textstring header property, inserted it as a page field with blank 'insert before/after' into the template but when adding text for header in content section I can see
tag (using edit html source and Firebug) either side of the header in addition to the
tag which is set in the template.
It sounds like the value comes from a Rich Text Editor in Umbraco. The RTE always sets linebreaks as a

It's quite a question, but are you sure that the selected field is not an RTE? :-)
Hi Bo, Ive used the Textstring as it's a 1 line heading, Ive tried this different ways including using the RTE. Ive used Textstring in doc type/template/page on this site other and there is no
inserted. Ive checked in Data types and I can see nothing here which may be causing this.
Unwanted tags to page field

What am I doing wrong?
