    umbracoRedirect property type not working in v7.1.1?

    Hi guys,

    I'm having trouble getting the umbracoRedirect property to work in 7.1.1, I have the property type set-up as below and on the node I have picked another node for it to redirect to, but it just loads the page without redirecting.

    Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

    Ok so I've found a solution, if you set the type to numeric, and enter the ID it works. Think it might have something to do with PropertyConverters package.

    Hi Jordan,

    thanks for posting the answer - it saved me a lot of time figuring out the problem.

    As for Property Converters package check this thread: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/developer-tools/umbraco-core-property-value-converters/feedback/53766-Content-Picker-GetPropertyValueint-is-broken-(v621)-umbracoRedirect-doesnt-work , I've posted a temporary fix there.

    Hi Pavel,

    No problem - glad it was useful. I sure was confused for a while. The fix doesn't appear to be a easy one, but hopefully something will get figured out.
