I want to create a document type that includes a list of colors that define a gradient. The idea is that every document based on this doc type will have a gradient that colors the background of the template. The gradient can't be limited to 2 colors; it must be possible to define gradients with mutliple color points. This means the property in the doc type needs to be a dynamic list. I'm not sure what kind of editor allows for this.

There is the color picker, but that's just allows for selecting one color.

There is the repeatable textstring, which would allow me to enter hex values, but this is not as user friendly or intuitive as color pickers.

There is the list view, but this requires creating a whole other doc type for the child items, and this seems like overkill just for a color.

What would be the best approach to accomplishing my goal?
