    Problem with media picker tree breaking out of container in IE8

    Hi Jeroen

    A client (using IE8) is seeing issues with their DAMP picker breaking out of its pane like this:

    Have you got any ideas on how to prevent this? They do have long file names, but this shouldn't cause the problem, and it works fine in other browsers....

    Hello,

    It could be related to this bug which is fixed in 4.7.1: http://umbraco.codeplex.com/workitem/30199. If that's not the case you could upgrade to the DAMP 2.0 RC or latest change set. The UI has changed a lot since version 1.0 (see http://www.screenr.com/vshs) so it might be solved.

    The workitem I just posted is fixed in this change set: http://umbraco.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/changes/0ce9deffa5a2. Here you can see what they changed: http://umbraco.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/changes/0ce9deffa5a2#umbraco%2fpresentation%2fumbraco%2fdialogs%2fmoveOrCopy.aspx. You don't need to upgrade to 4.7.1. You can just copy that fix and change the correct file in your current Umbraco setup. See if that fixes it.

    I just tested this with DAMP 2.0 and the bug is still there. I fixed it in change set 80328.

    Hi Jeroen - that's fantastic, I've got it all working now - upgraded to 2.0 RC, and then built the new change set (above). Works like a dream.
