I added a DAMP data type and added it to the homepage doctype. I'd like to add some extra idiot proofing for the client and prevent that he selects duplicate images.
You can't select the same image twice while you're in the modal selecing images, but once the image has been selected and you open the choose modal again you'll be able to select the same image.

Currently there isn't. You could do it yourself by chaning the source code: http://damp.codeplex.com/.
