Can't Upload a file, 'Choose File' button is missing

    Hello friends,

Let me begin by saying that I am fairly new to Umbraco, so please forgive me if this is something trivial.

I've been working with Umbraco for several weeks now, I come from a .NET background, and it seems like a great CMS. Unfortunately, however, I've been running into a problem with DAMP and my media files. I can't seem to 'Create' files through the dialog you a presented with when creating a new page, let me illustrate: .                                  When I click on 'Create...' I get this dialog:

Which will not let me choose any files to create. There used to be a 'Choose File' button, but it is no longer there. I don't understand why this would happen.

I'm also having a problem with my media section, I can't see any of the properties of the files I already have and Umbraco does not create a link to those media items:

I've been having this problem for days now, and I can't find a solution, it's driving me nuts.

Earlier this week, I ran into a similar problem. Some of my content was missing, such as content nodes, scripts, data types, etc., this was cuased by moving the Umbraco database to a different server. Some of the content was dropped for whatever reason on the external server database, and this was fixed by adding the entries that were missing on that database. Could this be the issue here as well? Or is it simply a setting that I am missing?

I can also rule out permissions, I am certain that is not the issue because I used this link: http://yourdomain.com/install/?installStep=filepermissions, and it said my permissions were fine.

I really hope someone can help me, I've been at this for days to no avail.

    Thanks in advance!
