    DAMP in Umbraco 7?

Given that DAMP relies heavily on data types I assume it's not compatible with Umbraco 7.

Any plans to release a compatible version soon?

    Hello,

DAMP is not compatible with Umbraco 7 and I don't have any plan to release a version for Umbraco 7. Instead the default media picker can also select multiple items and can be used as a replacement. It doesn't have all the functionality of DAMP yet, but it will probably evolve.

I created an issue to improve the default media picker in v7: http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-3713

So DAMP is dead, long live DMP (Default Media Picker)? DAMP & CropUp became such a seller that I can't see myself building another Umbraco site until I can offer the editor similar functionality. Hope it's not too long in coming.

Niels commented in the issue that 7.1 will hopefully have most of the stuff that we need :-). http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-3713#comment=67-11139
