    Scheduled newsletters not sending on staging environment

    Hi,

    I've setup a scheduled newsletter using Newsletter Studio but they are not being sent at the time set. This works fine on my local machine but on staging environment it is not working.

    Running the URL /umbraco/NewsletterStudio/Actions/NewsletterCheckForScheduledSendOut always returns 0 items scheduled to be sent out even when there should be some.

    So far I have checked and tried the following;

    • Running the URL directly, always returns 0
    • No error messages in event view or logs
    • Checked umbracoSettings has correct scheduled task configuration
    • SMTP connection is fine, single test email is working

    It simply appears to be silently failing without raising an error. Anyone have any idea why this might be happening please?

    EDIT: I should also add that it is currently running in trial mode on the staging environment. Could this be why?

    The issue has been resolved. The staging environment server clock was incorrect. Classic! :)

    Phuu! After reading the first messade I thought to my self ”wow, this is going to be hard to debug” :) But it was just a simple clock 😊 Nice to hear that you solved it!
