    Umbraco 8 Support?

Just wondering whether you have any plans and a timeframe for releasing a version supporting Umbraco v8?

    Ta :) Rob

    Hi Markus,

I’m shifting all 12 of my Umbraco v4 sites to v8 and they all use Newsletter Studio.

So keen to know if you have any plans and a timeframe for releasing a version supporting Umbraco v8?

    Cheers, Robert

I'm interested in this too! We're trying to decide if we should start a project in 7 or 8 because we plan to use newsletter studio.

Looking to use this in Umbraco 8 as well. Hopefully we can get an answer on this!

We and a few others are still waiting for an email tracking fix that was finally identified and an update promised but it seems development has slowed or stopped on this package.

Could we all get an honest update on this package?

    Is it dead?

    If not:

    • Are updates coming for version 7 that was outlined to us in a few forum threads?
    • Is there a version 8 Newsletter Studio coming?

    Hi guys!

There is a version for Umbraco 8 coming, a version where you can expect with major updates and improvements - the development is in process but we want to allow this to take some time to make it "right" this time.

We are aiming towards having something out before the summer and if anyone is interested in trying out the new bits before release - let me know - markus [at sign goes here]

    Thank you @Markus!

We will start a new project in V8 and it would be great to also have Newsletter Studio!

    Best regards, Pedro

The work with the V8-version of the package is in progress, I'll post here when we're approaching some kind of beta-stage.

    All the best!

    Hello Markus,

I don't want to be a nuisance, but could you give us an approximate date when we can expect the V8 beta version?

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Best regards, Edi

It's a big task to upgrade the package and the work is progressing with some "bumps" on the road. It has also been important to make sure that we can support the upcoming .NET Core-version of Umbraco.

The release-version will not be done by the end of Q3 but hard work is put into getting it out. I still don't want to commit to a release date but I can share some of the progress with some screenshots of the progress:

Mailing list overview: enter image description here

Recipient details with interaction timeline enter image description here

The new responsive email editor that also can be used for transactional emails and Umbraco forms Workflows: enter image description here

Analytics for sent campaigns: enter image description here

I'm truly sorry for the fact that his take some time, it's hard work so I also hope that any one waiting can understand that the process is complex and time consuming.
