Where is the source for this package? I can't see a link to it.
When I delete a tag, the articles containing the tag are not republished? We store all our tag info in a lucene index via examine to do "tag" searches. The lucene index would not be updated if the content is not re-published. So I suppose my question is how does the content get updated when managing tags via your package?

When a tag is deleted it is deleted from the "tagrelationship" table in the database and when viewing the node in the admin area the tag is not listed. However you quite rightly point out that the node needs republished to remove the tag from the node data.
So a wee bit of work to be done to update the functionality - guess this process will need to check if a tag is published too as you would only want currently published nodes updated and republished.
I am currently a bit busy on other projects so cannot look into the new code immediately, hwoever if you are willing to take a look then I'd be grateful and could then include in the package for others to use.
