The current version of the Tribal Yet Another Media Picker 4 package (v1.1) only supports Ubraco 4.0.x. I was hoping I didn't need to port this project to Umbraco 4.5.x because it has the improved media picker, but unfortunately it's missing some features:
- You can not create folders in the 'create new' tab. - You can not upload other files beside images. - Preview only works if an image is selected.
These features are available in TYAMP 4 so I want to upgrade this project to version 2.0 and make it available for Umbraco 4.5.x. I haven't started development yet of this new version so you can still make feature requests :).
New features I would like to make available in version 2.0 are:
- Compatible with Umbraco 4.5.x. - Make the field mandatory (currently not working). - Use in Canvas (currently not supported). - Choose which file extensions are allowed in the PrevalueEditor. - Use the Umbraco 4.5.x cache system when an image is displayed in the backend. - All current 4.0.x features.

I've got a Release Candidate of the Digibiz Advanced Media Picker you can test if you want. Final version should be out within 2 or 3 weeks. If you give me your e-mail I can send you the RC.

I've tested it on the 4.6 beta and I had no problems. Haven't tested 4.6.1 yet but it should work :).
