(I orginally posted this in a previous thread but this is a new issue)
I think there may be an issue since updating the package.
For some reason (which wasn't happening when I first made the update)
I'm now only getting the Approved Color dataType appearing in my
content pages that try to use the "color picker" dataType.
At first I thought that this might be related to only the project
that I was working on but I have tried adding the color picker to
another project and get the same issue.
Is anyone else getting this issue when they try to install the
package for the first time or is it just me?
Using .Net Reflector and looking at the InfoCaster.Umbraco.DataTypes.TrueColorPicker.dll - we can't see where the GUID or the DataTypeName is declared. When installing in a project the name of the datatype is not listed in Developer > Data Types
I think this problem is related to the other topic; the datatype wasn't created... Could you check if it is fixed in version 1.3 which is now available?

Maybe both datatypes use the same GUID
We think this is the problem...

Hamish,
I'm sorry, I just read your post (little late).
Will look into this problem tonigh and post my findings here ok? :)
Thanks for all the feedback!
What status on this :)
Well, I just didn't have the time to look at it yet, but now another problem exists (the new topic above this one).
So I will try to fix both problems today (but I've got a major deadline today, so bear with me)!

is working on a reply...
