    Installing Merchello 1.5.1 gives Request timed out error.

    Merchello

    I have installed UmbracoCms 7.1.8 on windows 7 (No service pack) 32-bit. 

    I am using IIS 7.5 and .net framework 4.5.

    While installing Merchello 1.5.1 package gives “Request timed out” error.

     

    What can be the problem for such timed out error ? How can I fix the same.

    Hi Sham,

    I took the liberty of moving your question into the Merchello section since the above is not Umbraco specific. I'm sure the Merchello guys will try to help you solve the issue you have installing the new version of Merchello 1.5.1 :)

    Hi Sham,

    Can you check your database and see if any of the Merchello tables were created - and if so if there is default data in the merchShipmentStatus table (this is the last table we populate during the install).

    If this is just a test/evaluation project and your using SQL CE, I could check out your build if you zipped it up and sent it to me. If that's cool with you DM me on twitter (@rustyswayne) and we can get something arranged.
