    Cant create content after installing Merchello v1.13.0 and v1.13.1

    After installing Merchello 1.13.0 on a clean installation of Umbraco 7.3 (with no templates, sql ce database), i go to content section and i have not the option to create content.

    I have to uninstall Merchello and install it again for the ui to refresh and show the option to create content.

    Hi Tito,

    We had the same bug! Also we could remove docTypes.

    Looks like Merchello 1.13 and Umbraco 7.3 isn't compatible. When we removed Merchello, everything works again.

    Had the same problem, try delete all files under App_Data\TEMP\ClientDependency, rebuild, restart.

    @Alex that does not solve the issue. I have deleted all in app_data (my db is outside this folder) and still i cant create content. My only option is to uninstall Merchello package, create some content, then install it again and voila! i can create content with Merchello installed... :(

    It happens with v1.13.0 and v1.13.1

    @Alex, Just to confirm i was having the same problem, if you create a root node before installing Merchello the problem is solved.

    Tested using Umbraco 7.3.1 with Merchello 1.13.1

    Hi @Alex, yes i can use Merchello now. I had to uninstall Merchello, then create some content and install it again. As Owen says, i think the bug happens when installing Merchello on an empty Umbraco site.

    Hi there, i have installed Merchello over an Umbraco 7.3.3 site with some nodes created previously and i cant create content :(

    I guess it is not related to having content created previously...

    Here is another post related to this issue i think. I have had the same issue and i fixed it buy doing what Rusty said in this post. Hope this helps.
