Is this using the Fasttrack template or something custom? Just trying to get an understanding as the example checkout flow should be working out the box.
yes i thought so to but it is not working. I can create a product add it to my basket. And then when i checkout it just does nothing after the first step of taking my address.
i get no errors etc..just like the next button on the page is dead
It sounds like I'll need more information with this - what version of Merchello are you using? I've done a test with my Fasttrack build and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary.
Does anything happen when you've debugged this locally ie: the Success Redirect URL is present, the submit model validates correctly.
checkout pages
So I have created separate pages for the checkout flow.
When i hit the billing address page I fill it in and click next and nothing happens at all
I have checked the view page for the billing address and can see the there is no form tag and the next button has an input type of submit.
I thought merchello is meant to be an end to end sales flow?
has anybody got this working?

using version 2.6.0
the shippingredirecturl is = "/checkout/" which is the url of the page i am currently on (which does not seem right at all)

right seems like I have found the solution. It was the way I had created the pages.
For the shippingredirecturl to work correctly you need to have the pages set like the following:
On the first checkout page the stage must be "none"
