yes, it looks like certain bits of the Document Type are not saved by umbraco until AfterSave has fired (i will raise a ticket).
The "Allowed at root" will pass through to the xml if the doctype is saved twice.
the Allowed child node types is a bug in uSync, it tries to apply the scructure before all doc types are imported, the fix is now in the next version (new package soon),
would appreciate it if you can test and confirm the "Allowed at root" issue goes away if the doctype is double saved. then i will raise a ticket.

When saving a document type, the value for 'Allowed at root' is always false, even when set to true in the UI.
The values for 'Allowed child node types' are saved to xml, but after creating the document types on the other machine, those values are all empty.

Indeed, "Allowed at root" is set to true when the document type is saved twice.
