I'm using uSync (uSync.BackOffice 3.1.1.740) (uSync.Core 5.3.1.740) to migrate doctypes, templates, data-types, etc between environments.
I've exported them from my local environment and successfully imported them into our staging environment. I am able to create a page without any issues and it renders correctly. Unfortunately, whenever I run the Report tool it shows that doctypes in question still have outstanding changes.
Why won't these "changes" go away and what can I do to fix the issue?
Usually these 'changes' aren't really, they are just to do with the order in which some things are being written to the disk, so they look like changes to usync because the files are different but when they are processed it's just the same settings being applied in a different order :(
There have been a couple of fixes that are not yet released that will stop things like composistions always showing as changes when they are not, but it would be good to capture any more before i roll out a new version.
USync changes that never go away.

Hi pete,
What changes are you seeing?
Usually these 'changes' aren't really, they are just to do with the order in which some things are being written to the disk, so they look like changes to usync because the files are different but when they are processed it's just the same settings being applied in a different order :(

I'm happy to share info with you. Unfortunately, I'll need to do it off forum - can I get your email address?
Cheers
Pete
Hi
the latest release of usync (3.1.2) now has some extra fixes in it to hopefully make these 'false' changes go away.
it's mainly to do with forcing an order of the exports every time so things appear in the same place in the file and we don't get confused.
Give us a shout if you try this and it they are still there.
