'An error occured' on Umbraco 7.7.3

    Hi

I've just installed Formulate 1.3.5 on top of Umbraco 7.7.3 and it doesn't work - when I try to go to the Formulate section in sidebar it shows me an error, see screenshots attached

How did you install Formulate (e.g., NuGet, via search in back office, via downloaded local package in back office)?

In the meantime, I'll see if I can reproduce this on the latest version of Umbraco (7.7.4).

FYI, I was not able to reproduce this. I installed the latest Formulate (1.3.5) on the latest Umbraco (7.7.4) without issue:

    Formulate

Which version of .Net are you on? Formulate requires 4.5.2: http://www.formulate.rocks/requirements

You may want to download this ZIP file and compare the files in it against your install: https://nicholaswestby.box.com/s/vot7psue6lhf5s0j1njcmcemozb5ejam

    Especially the config files.

Looking at the error, it looks similar to one I had recently in a custom section where after an upgrade the trees.config file was broken so I'd suggest comparing yours against the one Nicholas is providing in his download just to see how much they differ.

as an FYI, to fix mine (although it wasn't formulate) I had to remove any custom entries from it and then restart the website. All the custom ones seemed to get put back (assuming they were added using code and not manually). :-)
