Can I send any item to Pipeline by SMS or email — so i can store items as they come to mind while I am on the road, and then login a a later time to work with the item?
Yes, Pipeline CRM is still actively supported - we will fix bugs and implement sensible enhancements suggested by the community.
Pipeline CRM supports your request, in that you can post straight into it, however you need to hook up an SMS / email provider to do the posting. After all, it is not SaaS, but a self-hosted package.
I also have the same question. Is Pipeline CMS is actively being developed? I see there hasn't been a release for over a year - is this the end of the road for new features etc?
Pipeline CRM is still being supported, in terms of bug fixes at least.
New features tend to be requested by our clients, so they are merged into the commercial version. If the community asks for features on GitHub, we will assess and develop if they benefit the project. Even better, we welcome pull requests - it is after all an open-source project.
We have tried to reach out in regard to the bug with the latest Kentico 7 versions and this. We have installed and got the same errors as others. We tried the fix suggested in git but does not work.
We installed via the package in the admin and nuget and have not been able to get this to install. I do not see any changes to the package for a while so I do not see this is being updated or resolved for later Kentico versions?
It looks awesome and we would love to use it and if like donate to it (discussed internally at our company if we like to help it get better) but as we not been able to even install it we have had to look at other options.
@Liam, I assume here you meant Umbraco and not Kentiko ;-)
I am not after donations: the reason I made the package free and open-source is that I have limited time, so I am hoping for help from the community. If you are in a rush, may I suggest that you debug and send me a pull request?
If you can't be bothered to do that, keep the conversation going on Github, I am sure we can get it sorted soon enough.
