How to setup Authorize.NET Payment Gateway plugin on the front end site?

    Hello Merchello development team,

I am trying to use Merchello with Authorize.Net Payment Gateway plugin (https://github.com/Merchello/Merchello/tree/1.8.3/Plugin/Payments/AuthorizeNet).

I have installed this plugin by downloading the zip package file. And, it seems like every working in the backend. However, I don't know how to config the front end website using this plugin.

I am using Bazaar startkit project. And, I am having troubles and getting error on the checkout page when I selected "Credit Card" as payment method. I know I am missing to pass credit card info fields. However, I can't find any documentation related to how to setup this on the front-end website.

Can you help me and provide me either better documentation on the plugin or add Authorize.Net payment gateway as part of the Bazaar startkit project?

Thank you for your hardwork on this open source project. And I am looking forward to hear from you.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Wing

    Biagio,

We have done this at ProWorks for a client.  I'll try to post a blog on it in the next couple of weeks.  Sorry, I'm prepping for Codegarden and just a bit busy right now, but I may be able to pull something together this week.

    Are you on a deadline?

    Thanks,
    Jason

    Hi Jason,

This will be great. I may have a project for integrating Authorize.NET with Merchello. I am looking for your blog post. Or, is there other way to contact you in private?

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Wing

Hi, I too am starting to look at Merchello and working with the Authorize.Net Payment Provider. Is there any chance an exmplle of how to get this working could be posted?

Not really sure how the CheckoutController from the Merchello Example site needs to be alterered to pass the correct information (Not sure what the minimum Authorize.NET fields are).

    I'm using Merchello 1.9.0 and Umbraco 7.2.6.

    Thanks heaps!

    ~Andrew

Anyone sort this out? There is no documentation anywhere. I set this up and it works fine in the backend, but there is no instruction on how to wire this up on the front-end.

When I reach the end of checkout it does not render a credit card form, and upon further investigation there is no PaymentForm.cshtml in the Auth NET package as there is in braintree and some others. Is this plugin not ready for use?

Its possible the Authorize.net Payment Provider hasn't been updated to keep up with the latest Umbraco versions.

Could you use one of the other providers to get an idea of what is missing and add it in?

    Thanks Jason,

I doubt that is the case, there is no forward facing controller, nor is there a corresponding view that renders the credit card form! Pretty sure this is just incomplete, but it's no problem just about done wiring this up in Fast Track fashion.

I'll drop the controller / view code in here when I'm done and have battle tested this a bit.

Did you figure this out? I dropped the AuthorizeNet.CreditCard into the ResolvePayment.cshtml cases but you need the payment form which I thought I did based off theBrainTree example but I do not know what else to do.

Sorry, I meant Merchello versions. Oops!

Anyways, glad to hear you are getting it worked out.

    Thanks, Jason
