    Wordpress Categories and Tags support?

    Feature Request

    Hi there,

    have recently been importing a wordpress blog into Umbraco, and cant seem to see any support for categories or tags? when importing posts (unless I've missed some options somewhere) Would like to request this as a feature for future versions if possible.

    Am using Umbraco v6.1.3 and the latest version of CMSImport (2.3.3)

    Hi Tim,

    Are you using uBlogsy V3 also? I've seen some issues with the latest uBlogsy indeed and already fixed tags. Can send you the binaries if you like? If you are using another setup I'm interested to hear which datatype you are using for tags.

    yep recently upgraded to uBlogsy v3 - that'd be great if you could send the binaries my way. Always happy to test stuff if its of help.

    Greetings Richard,

     

    I am using UBlogsy V2 and Was Wanted to export all the data into a UBlogsy V3, the current Import tool isn't allowing it.  Would like to see if your new binaries would help.

    With the 2.4 release Wordpress Categories and tags should work as expected. I've written a blogpost that describes the complete process how to import from Wordpress to uBlogsy also
