Error :The column name is not valid.

When importing a fairly simple CSV I keep getting the following error:

Error :The column name is not valid. [ Node name (if any) = ,Column name = CustomId ]

Could anybody explain where this error comes from and how to fix the issue? Thx!

    Hi Melanie,

This is a bug on sql CE I've fixed it, release should be out today but dropbox already has the fix for you. Just install using the package installer and all should be good again.

    Best,

    Richard

Thank you for the quick fix! I really appreciate your speediness.

After uninstalling the old package and installing the new release on my local test copy, it now works like a charm! Unfortunately, I'm having some issues on the live server where auto uninstalling the previous package (3.5.2.) caused such a bad Umbraco hiccup that we had to revert to last night's backup of our site as a last resort.

I'm wondering if I could get away with not doing the uninstall? Would the new release just override the old files?

    Hi Melanie,

Sorry to hear you had issues on the live server. All of my packages can be updated by just installing the new version. No need to uninstall first.

    Hope this helps.

    Best,

    Richard
