    Filtering with the Umbraco data source

    Using CMSImport

    Hi Richard,

    I'm using the Umbraco datasource to import content into a new Umbraco installation. Is it possible to import a subset of nodes under a root node on the source site?

    I'm trying to import articles from a single article listing on the source site to multiple article listings on the new site (blog posts, press releases, case studies). The client has added the type of content to the start of the node names, so I'd want to import nodes where the name starts with a given value.

    Hi James,

    Using the event system you can cancel import of records you don't want. No filtering in the UI, sorry about that.
