    Import of media

    Using CMSImport
    Umbraco 7

    Hi,

    I'm using CMS Import to import some content from a spreadsheet, one of the fields contains either a link to another content item or a media item (e.g. Word doc). The field is a custom field in Umbraco and I can correctly set the field using a Custom Data Provider, the question is how can I get CMS Import to import the media and display the additional options box to choose a location for media to be stored?

    Hi Andy,

    For a custom field you need to create your own field provider. The manual describes how you can create one. https://soetemansoftware.nl/cmsimport/downloads

    Thanks for that, did mean field provider in the original post. Changed mine now to also check for documents and add.
