    uBlogsy Upgrade Info?

    Hi,

I'm currently running uBlogsy 1.32 and was wondering if there's any documentation on upgrading to the latest version.  I'm experiencing the dreaded attribute null error after posting.  Any info would be great!

    Thanks!

That's going to be a painful upgrade. Instructions are here: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/starter-kits/ublogsy

I normally avoid upgrading anything unless i have to.

    What exactly is the issue?

I'm getting the following error when first publishing a post.

Which version of umbraco are you using?

Have you tried deleting the umbraco.config, and examine indexes, and republishing?

Yes, I did without any luck.  If fails on just the first time I publish the node.  After that, if I got back the the post and publish again it works.  I assume it has to do with creating the Comments sub node?

    I'm running Umbraco 4.8.1

Do you have any custom examine indexes?

Ok I think I know what is going on with this issue.

Try upgrading to 1.3.6.1. Follow the instructions on the package page.

What does this step refer to: Replace archive macro script?

I don't see anything that would indicate this in the package zip.

If you install the package into a dummy umbraco instance you'll see the files. Otherwise you have to figure out which guid represents the file you want... which is not impossible or that hard.
