    FB razor like

    Hi Bob,

Does this package just add a FB like button or can it do things like display recent wall posts etc?

I need to add wall entries to a site, (just a list of recent posts/comments) pretty soon and I am seeing which is the best way to do it. I used your gallery package before and it worked perfectly for me.

    Thanks, all the best :)

    Sam.

    Sam,
OOB the like button is all that is wired up.
the razor helper file does have some extra pieces that i would need to look into. when i originally launched this package i was working with the Microsoft team to help debug the actual helper file.

I will check soon to see if they actually got this updated because i have been reading that other facebook post feed apps have broken now due to some changes with the facebook team.

watch this space for more details!

    Hi Bob

Is there any update(s)  to the razor helper file, or is it dead?

I heard facebook api changed few generations since then, so not sure what is the current state of this.

would appreciate if you can let us know.

    @Alex,

i have not updated this file in a while, however, i am pretty sure the like button is still workign. Is it not? The helper file that i am using comes from this post here.

    http://www.microsoft.com/web/post/using-facebook-helpers-on-your-website

Let me know if that helps.

just a general note : facebook do have a habit of changing things up every so often, so what works may not continue working forever..

    Hi there

Not sure if there is anything still happening with this package - shame if not as its prety handy!

Having a wee problem with it all of a sudden though. My like buttons were appearing perfectly until about 2 days ago when they stopped. When I run the page in the java consol I am getting a message saying

    SCRIPT5: Access is denied.

    like.php, line 1 character 1

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

    Thanks

I suspect they've changed stuff again, there was a notice on open grapghs this morning on faccebook. so I'd check on the fcebook dev groups to see if there have been any updates to logins and permissions
