    SEOChecker contains outdated Umbraco.Licensing.dll

SEOChecker (v1.9.2, installed via NuGet onto Umbraco 7.2.8) contains version 1.0 of Umbraco.Licensing.dll - this over-writes the version 2.0 dll installed by Umbraco Forms and breaks the license checking in Umbraco Forms (v4.14).

At the moment I've fixed the problem by overwriting the dll in the NuGet package cache with the v2.0 one - this fixes Umbraco Forms and doesn't appear to have any side effects on SEOChecker.

I've been thinking of using Umbraco.Licensing in a package of my own - I'm guessing you wouldn't advise this, then? It it just version issues, or have you had other problems?

    Hi Geoff,

Umbraco licensing was used when the Umbraco Deli was still a thing. Since that is killed and every vendor needed a platform of their own we started Packagegarden http://packagegarden.com/ which comes with a licensing system for vendors. If you sign up there you can use the PackageGarden licensing system which is similar to Umbraco licensing.

    Best,

    Richard
