ShowOff

ShowOff is a package that enables you to make presentations using Umbraco.

Currently it's based on the Shower engine but in coming releases I will look into making it possible to choose other engines like revealjs and csss.

Currently the package is using Markdown for the content - This might change later on since it's not neccesarily ideal if you're not a geek that knows markdown or HTML :-)

Some more thourough documentation will be up soonish but to get started you can see how the different slides in the sample presentation are made.

Currently it's not possible to select a theme from the backoffice, but it will be in the next release. However you can change the path to the theme in the "ShowOff" template in the settings section.

The default Shower themes "Ribbon" and "Bright" are included. To change the theme currently you just change the path in the master template manually. The default theme is "Ribbon".

You find the themes in /showoff/themes/, which is also where I encourage you to place your own themes.

Currently there is a slide called "Picture" - Since it's apparently not possible to include media items using the package installer this slide is empty for now. In the next version of ShowOff this will be fixed using some installer script magic.

For now you should just upload your own image and choose it to see what this does.

• Easier to select themes from within Umbraco
• Switch between different engines (shower, revealjs, cssss)
• Color picking for headers
• Effects when changing slides
