On https://our.umbraco.org/contribute/releases/742/ and other pages, it's impossible to tell what text is clickable until you hover over it. That works fine in menus where the links are obvious, but in paragraph text (i.e., the section on "Upgrading from 7.3.x / 7.4 pre-releases"), you can't tell that the general upgrade guide or version specific upgrade guides are links.
Seems a little inconsistent even with other /contribute pages where links start green, or are underlined already.
Good observations - I think you should add it to the issue tracker for the forum here http://issues.umbraco.org/issues/OUR if someone has not done so already.
Otherwise I'm not sure it will get any TLC at some point since it easy to forget when people post issues in here without creating them on the tracker as well :)

The most amazing thing would be to submit a PR for the fix :) https://github.com/umbraco/OurUmbraco
