Are you a Content Editor? We need your help with some user testing please!
Hi
At Umbraco we are currently trying to perform some user testing to help do some research into the available Rich Text Editors on the market and get some real world insights into how content editors use these tools & to help determine if we may or may not be better to look at other alternatives.
Want to help?
Are you a content editor who uses Umbraco?
Have a customer who you build sites for who is willing to help with some user testing?
We would prefer not to have developers & Umbraco site implementors taking part in these tests as we are generally a bit more tech-savy and we can easily adapt to any quirks or problems that a tool such as the rich text editor may throw at us.
Details
Thanks for participating in our user-tests.
There are five tests, each would take around 3-5 minutes, maximum ~30 minutes in total. You can take the tests when you like, but we would appreciate them begin done within the next week.
We would like you to vocally describe your thoughts/concerns or the trouble you are experiencing as you go along, and we would like you to do that in English.
The software providing the test will require you to install a browser extension from a company called LookBack.io. Once you have installed the browser extension a further description of the test will appear on your screen.
Notice that the description and test-notes are 100% identical in all five tests, so you only need to read the description for your first test.
If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Sorry Tobias,
This is the first service we are currently using to help record user tests and I will pass on the note/feedback that LookBack may not be for everyone due to the demand of having to use Chrome.
