Hi,
I'm trying to write a URL in the rich text editor - but I do not want to make it a link.
Whenever I write the URL of my site, save & publish, the RTE strips the URL out. It will allow the URLs of other sites, just not mine!
I'm also trying to pass a URL in as a macro parameter - that is also stripped.
Does anyone else see this behaviour / have a fix?
Thanks
A workaround it to drop the http:// from the link, IIRC. Not ideal, but should do it.
Dan
Thanks Dan - I'll give that a go.
I'm still interested to know if there is a way to stop the RTE stripping the link out though - it's quite important for my macro parameter that the http part is included.
Any idea why the RTE does this? Is it deliberate?
is working on a reply...
