Hi, I am experiencing this same error.. I see in codeplex that it says "Resolved with changeset 81529.".. How/where do I find this patch, and implement it? I can't find it in codeplex.
Hmm in that case it might be best to get the source of 4.5.2 and the source of 4.7.1.1 and apply the fix from the latest version in the source of 4.5.2. Build that code and copy over the dll files so you still have 4.5.2 running, but with the fix of 4.7.1.1.
Error creating item in media section with top left create button
My media section works fine as long as i right click in the media tree and then click create.

A customer found this error. I did not even know you could create a new item this way :)
I use version 4.5.2 of umbraco on iis6 and sql server 2005
Tried other webs built on the same version and i get the same error there.
There is an issue already filed for this on codeplex, vote it up at http://umbraco.codeplex.com/workitem/28730

Apologies on zombie thread, but I have the same question as the last poster. If this change is resolved, where can I find the DLL to patch it?
It seems the error was in 4.5.2 so if you upgrade to the latest version (currently 4.7.1.1) it should be fixed. You can read more about upgrading here: http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/install-and-setup/upgrading-an-umbraco-installation

Thanks for your reply - however, we're currently working in VS2008 and therefore can't use a version of Umbraco that uses ASP.NET 4
Is there a version of the current Umbraco that uses 3.5?
