You could try and see if you can create the nodes by copying them, so when you've made nyheder, you can copy it to the english site. Use the checkbox that says something like "relate this to the original".
Then you can use the relations api to send notifications. It seems a bit cumbersome though...
Translation reminder
Lets say we have this tree:
-DK
-- nyheder.aspx
-ENG
-- news.aspx
When we make a change on nyheder.aspx would it then be possible to get a reminder about translating/updating news.aspx also? :)
