    Hi Chrisopher

Have you been altering some files in Umbraco or set the UI language to be norwegian? If so could it perhaps be that the norwegian translation has not been 100% completed?

    Hi Christopher

    Hmm, that seems odd...

Does the network service and the iusr have the correct permissions on the root folder containing Umbraco? How did you do the installation?

And is the app pool running integrated mode with the network service as identity?

Hope some of these pointers can help you get going.

    /Jan

We figured it out ourselves. The cultureinfo in iis HAS to be set to en-GB. If not, the languagefiles does not work. This is strange, and i consider it a bug.

Thanks fo all the help. :-)

    Hi Christopher

If you think it's a bug please take the time to report it on codeplex if you have not done so already :-)

    Glad you got it solved.

I think you should actually be capable of adding some UI parameter to the web.config...Have a look here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bz9tc508.aspx

Don't know if this could be of any use?

    /Jan

    Hi, Jan.

Thanks for the advice. I will look into it later. I will also report it to codeplex if I still find it a bug after more testing.
