Premium Skins, is Umbraco the right choice

    Hello again,

As you may not know, I'm looking to create a premium skin/theme service for an ASP.NET CMS. Initially, I thought Umbraco was the best route, then I took a look at the Orchard Project. There seems to be more of a market for the Orchard CMS, and I just wanted to ask the community if this is the case (in your opinion).

I was hoping for a selection of theme that have bespoke designs, full control panel, mobile versions (for tablets, iPhone's and other mobile devices) and lots of other goodness.

I will keep this topic plain and simple for now, but I can provide much more information if you like.

I look forward to your responses! Thanks for your time.

Now that Umbraco can do Razor will Razor templates work in both?

@Nick Portelli The intention was to code the theme to suit each CMS. In the same way the WooThemes creates WordPress themes, and then re-codes them for Expression Engine and Drupal. This will allow for each theme to be fully optimised for its respective CMS. It may be good to note that the design and all of the features will be retained across the two platforms. (Orchard and Umbraco) What do you think now?

    Thanks for your time.
