Is umbraco Pro Premium Support worth it?

When we purchased Umbraco a year ago, we paid for premium support.  However, we have been unable to use it and never got our money's worth.  It's up for renewal.  Should we skip it or should we renew and figure out how to get the support we are paying for?

    Hi Connie,

Question comes down to, do you think you'll need support? Would it offer peace of mind to your clients/customer?

Difficult question to answer.  Could always speak with Umbraco HQ? - sure they'll happily talk about it.

    Cheers, Lee.

    Hi Connie

When you say you were unable to use it...what do you then mean by that? Did you have a problem getting help when you needed it or didn't you need the help?

I was never provided information on how to access the support.  It seems that most of the issues we've had are with third party packages and few with the core of Umbraco.  What I was looking for are comments such as "we've used support several times and it more than paid for itself..." or "we hardly ever use it because we are able to get most help we need via the forums..."

Still looking for experiences with Pro Premium Support.  Is it worth spending the money, at least for you? or did you never use it?
