    Newsletter Subscription

    What is the best avenue to create a Newsletter Subscription with Umbraco under v 4.5.1?

    Hi Fuji

    I think you should try and have a look at either MailChimp or CampaignMonitor, which should be pretty easy to integrate to.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi

    I'm also looking for answer for newsletter subscription. I'm thinking about to use Mail Engine Package, but thinking about 2000 newsletter I think it won't work. Is MailChimp free to use? Is there any other packages like Mail Engine?

    Thanks

    Pnima

    Hi

    If your database does not exceed the 500 subscribers you can use E-goi email marketing tool. You can send emails as you like for free if do not
    exceeds 500 subscribers.

    You can do easily a form for newsletter subscription.

    I use campaign monitor in combination with this package: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/campaign-monitor-sign-up (which I have altered a bit to my own taste) Works like a charm.

    Hi!

    I know that this is an old post but if someone's looking for a solution our package Newsletter Studio could be a good way to go. Have a look at the intro video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1ntbvj7McQ and try the package here: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/newsletter-studio

    Hi

    As far as I can see all these solutions are running on .NET 4.0 only. I need to update an older site, running .NET 3.5 with a newsletter signup funktion - preferably Mailchimp, does anyone know of a solution for that?

    //Cheers
