Depending on what you refer to as "users", here's the options:
- Protect content in the umbraco admin, use the built-in functionality to limit the parts of the site the user can/may see and/or update. Be aware that you can only specify a single node as the starting point of a user in the admin backend (so may need to restructure the content)
- Protect content in the frontend for specific member roles. Can use membership roles in combination with setting public access to specific parts of the site. (Right-click a node, specify what type of protection, and optionally fill in the required info (such as login/error pages...)

Hi Neil,
Depending on what you refer to as "users", here's the options:
- Protect content in the umbraco admin, use the built-in functionality to limit the parts of the site the user can/may see and/or update. Be aware that you can only specify a single node as the starting point of a user in the admin backend (so may need to restructure the content)
- Protect content in the frontend for specific member roles. Can use membership roles in combination with setting public access to specific parts of the site. (Right-click a node, specify what type of protection, and optionally fill in the required info (such as login/error pages...)
Let us know if this info is sufficient.
