hello,
I have a wordpress blog with over 1000+ posts and every post has 5-6 pictures. What is the best way to move the content to a new umbraco installation; Any packages and/or tips ?
Thank you in advance

Haven't tried it but should be possible with this package: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/blogml-2-blog4umbraco
Hi Bill,
Probably by using CMS Import which can allow you to import all sorts of data into Umbraco.
Cheers,
Chris
I take my suggestion back, I agree with Tim that BlogML 2 Blog 4 Umbraco looks like just what you need :)
Hi,
Personally I would recommend http://our.umbraco.org/projects/starter-kits/ublogsy over blog4Umbraco and you can import your old blog via RSS, see this screencast here http://www.screenr.com/wKss
