Hello Friends
This post is officially my first interaction with Umbraco. I have never used Umbraco at all.
My question is .. what is Umbraco written in ? is it ASP.net MVC3 ? or is it Web Forms ?
I would greatly appreciate any replies.
Thank You.
v4.x is webforms
v5 is mvc.
So right now it is in Web Forms, cause the version it gives me for download is 4.x
I think I'll come back to Umbraco once MVC is implemetned. I hate web forms.
Thanks for the reply Jay. :)
my pleasure.
2 things, the alpha release of v5 is available at http://umbraco.codeplex.com/releases/view/69059
and also, the way Umbraco works abstracts the webforms/mvc issue away in the main.
(although certain elements of the admin site will be nicer in v5/mvc.)
