Has anyone used any help desk applications with umbraco? I am researching my options for providing support for my umbraco hosted site. Currently, I am just doing support via the contact us page. I have checked out zend desk and fresh desk and my sign up for the free trials. I would really love an open source alternative. It will mainly be one or two people providing the supoort, but I would like to have a unified front for support with issue tracking instead of email only support.
It doesn't really matter to me if it is Umbraco hosted or another site that I can install or subscribe to. I am currently working with one other person to support a site we just launched. I really just wanted to plan ahead so we could have a support system in place that would scale nicely. Currently we are offering email support to our customer, but I think it would be nice to have some way to track our interactions with the customers.

If I remember correctly we did a basic help desk application with umbraco in our Umbraco Level 2 class.. You may be able to build on it?
Are you considering building something custom with umbraco too? or just third party?
Any other level 2 umbracians do this? or am I completely missing the point?
