    Publish via right-click not adhering to data validation

    There seems to be a bug in 4.7.1 where the right-click publish function publishes nodes that do not pass data valiadtion (e.g. mandatory fields).  I believe this is listed here:

    Its not a showstopper, but it is a serious flaw that damages the user experience and can cause errors macros where property values are expected.  Is there any patch for this bug?  Is this resolved in v5?
