    Lost access to templates from umbraco UI

    I was working with my master template and went to save changes. 

    I saw a message about alias pop up saying I could not save. so I navigated off templates.

    Went back to template and the template item is in the hierarchy is there but no templates. 

    The site is working and the directory with the templates exists and is fully populated.

    Any advice. 

    I did not set up the site adn do not have acess to the person who did.

    Hi,

    Can you check the umbracoLog table to see if you get any errors generated when you attempt to expand the templates tree?

    If not you can try using Fiddler while you try to expand the tree, you should be able to see some sort of error by checking the Raw data.  The error might give us a hint as to what you need to do.  But IIRC, you might need to check your cmsTemplates table and see if you have any with duplicate aliases and delete one.  Let's see what the error is first :)
