A very short question. Alot of the exisitng packages and so on that is avaible for the community by the community is ofcourse not working in Umbraco 5(yet).
The question is, Umbraco 5 ready to develop websites and is good enough or should i still keep sticking with 4.7?
I was very fond of the idea for a new client project, until I noticed it was only released at the end of January.
In my opinion, that's a very immature product to be using for anything of any real significance or scale. People still will though, and I'm messing with it for my own needs. Some hacks and patches later, and when the majority have self-documented on the web, it should be fine. Having learned what I have so far I'll just kind of repeat concisely: I wouldn't take peoples money for it just yet.
I should be worth the wait, though, and you can do something fun with it in the meantime. (:
