I'm working for a company that i going to develope an newspaper/magazine website. do you think Umbraco is well suited for an newspaper website. In generall, is the framework fast, is it easy to add your own functionallity to it?
Once you've set the caching up correctly, the framework is blindingly fast. For a .net developer, adding functionality to it (in the form of .net user controls and xslt extensions) is a dream.
As for 'is it suitable for a newspaper or magazine site'...if it's good enough for Wired, QG and Vogue, it's probably good enough for you.
