    Hi Ole

What version are you currently running? And what database do you use?

If you're running version 4.6+ and use the CE SQL it's in fact possible. In fact the duke of Bristol (Aka the ever friendly Lee Kelleher) have written a blogpost about it, which you can read here: http://leekelleher.com/2011/01/15/umbraco-on-usb-usin-iis-express-and-sqlce4/

    Hope this helps you.

    /Jan

Now thats great feedback - thanks a bunch - running umbraco v 4.7.0 (Assembly version: 1.0.4090.38017)

My challenge now is that i need to change from MSSQL DB to the CE SQL - any directions on that one?

    Thanks,

    Ole

    Hi Ole

Glad to hear that - actually I asked that exact same question on Twitter earlier today just out of curiosity. (Not that often I do more advanced DB stuff, since I'm a frontend dev).

I got this link http://erikej.blogspot.com/2010/02/how-to-use-exportsqlce-to-migrate-from.html - But must admit that I have not tried it out yet - but perhaps you can use it?

    /Jan
