There are numerous posts with this title but none seem to have the answer. The most common solution seems to be to add;
<html> <body> <form runat="server">
.....content....
</form> </body> </html>
to the master template. I tried it but it didn't work and the browser informed me that you can't more than one form tag pair in a page. Very odd given that the original master template had two forms already before I edited it and it was working fine up until I edited it.
I'm using the blog starter kit and Umb 4.7.2 if that makes any difference.
I'm actually a bit puzzled as to how useful Canvas Editing is anyway given that you have to go into the backend to access it. In other CMSes I've used inline editing as something that is turned on for all logged in users or for particular user types.
However, I'd still like my users to have access to this. Can anybody shed some light on the problem?
