This has been mentioned a couple of times before (e.g. http://our.umbraco.org/forum/ourumb-dev-forum/features/9161-Here) but the consensus seems to be that Stack Exchange isn't the best platform for the Umbraco community. It's an interesting thread, the one above, regardless of where you stand on the debate.
Like Dan said, this has been discussed a few times and is not something the Umbraco HQ wants. Also, this has been a proposal on Area 51 before and it got only a handful of votes.
